I stopped by SZ today to get some gear oil for my rear differential and I ended up getting more than I bargained for: I got a ride in Greg's new GTR. I can finally say that all the hype about this car is true. Though, the stories and stats on this car can never give a real representation of how this beast performs. Stopwatches and second-hand accounts are, well, just stopwatches and second-hand accounts. The only way to really appreciate the performance of this savage, AWD rocket is to feel the G forces while it takes you from 0-100mph in what feels like 2 seconds. This thing is so quick it's absurd. It doesn't even fell like an automobile made for the road--it feels like a human slingshot. For those few seconds I actually thought I would be the first person to travel through time. Greg said he was able to squeeze out significantly more HP just by adding downpipes, Y Pipe and re-tuning. I don't remember the exact numbers and details so I'll let him fill that in. Anyway, that 's enough rambling from me; I'm off to go rob a bank so i can buy myself a new GTR.
